General Breed Characteristics

Boston Terriers are alert, gentle, well mannered and, at times, spunky small dogs.

Grown Height: 15-17 inches(measured at the shoulder)
Grown Weight: 10-20 pounds

Temperament: These terriers were bred to be companions, and they are good with people of all ages, from children to elderly. Because of their short muzzles, they are prone to snoring, which might annoy some people if they cuddle up on the bed at night.

Basic Care: Bostons are prone to heat distress, and also have trouble with extreme cold, so they are considered a house dog. Weekly brushing and regular baths are about all they need.
