Some stores sell the same collars for both cats and dogs, but we want you to know that's not right.
Cat Collars
Dog collars were made primarily to be an aid in restraining a dog. As such, they are made strong so the dog can't pull hard enough to break it. They make a great place to carry identification and licensing information, but that's a secondary purpose.
Cats live a different life, with lots of climbing and jumping. If the cat's collar gets caught on something, it must be designed to break-away, or the cat will be strangled. Most cat collars are made primarily for identification or to allow you to attach a bell so you know where your cat is.
Be sure you get a collar designed for cats, not dogs for your feline.

Kitty Litter
What your cat wants you to know about kitty litter:
Covered litter boxes are a no-no. Cats have extremely sensitive noses and a covered box traps in odors. Your cat will avoid the litter box and find someplace else.
Because of their sensitivity to odors, it's important to scoop often (at least every day). This is one of the most common reasons for cats rejecting a litter box.
Cats don't like change. Here at mini-critters we have a large variety of kitty litters, made from everything from clay to recycled paper. After you find one that your cat likes, stick with it.
We have some new additives that can make your litter super-clumpable, which means you won't have to change the remaining litter very often and will save you money in the long run.
mini-critters also has kitty litter liners, which make disposing of litter easier and cleaner - much like putting a plastic liner in your garbage can will make taking out the trash easier and cleaner.
